Today was Sugar Bowl day for the grade sevens who were interested. I had a very enjoyable day eating pizza from the side lines and yelling encouragement to the players. I'm sorry that everyone didn't come: it was a good day of being together having fun. Both Roberts Creek teams had good tournaments with a good number of victories and some great examples of teamwork. I saw lots of hustle and effort. We learned some valuable lessons about leadership on the field and the value of compassionate sportsmanship when teams are unbalanced. Thanks to those who gave an extra effort cleaning up at the end of the day.
The grade sixes had their immunizations today so they will be in need of some TLC when they get home.
Everybody should remember that the science experiment lab report is due tomorrow. If you view the last three blog posts you will find lots of valuable reminders AND the vocabulary crossword practice for the upcoming science test. I'll give some time tomorrow for the PowerPoint assignment, but that too is getting wrapped up. All students who wish to re-write the math test should have picked up a study package that must be finished first. The math re-test will be on Monday AT LUNCH.
